Audi CarPlay Retrofit Interface Box
This vehicle-specific wireless CarPlay retrofit interface box adds Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to compatible Audi factory equipment while keeping the original display. Choose the kit matched to MIB / MIB2. Original-system version, screen connections and audio routing must be checked before installation; supported functions depend on your exact vehicle and kit. A factory-system photo review is required before fitment can be confirmed.
Audi MIB: check the installed equipment
Audi distinguishes MIB2 Navigation plus (equipment code 7UG) from the Scale configuration without navigation (7UH). An MIB2 label does not make these configurations interchangeable for this retrofit.
Open the MMI Version Information screen from Settings; some older-looking interfaces place it under Setup MMI. Photograph that page as part of the original-screen photo where possible. The original display, controller, connector and audio setup must also match the kit.
This listing keeps vehicle details and two photos mandatory. The Audi factory-equipment table identifies original systems, but does not establish this module’s coverage across all MIB1, MIB2, regional or display variants. Do not treat it as support for MIB3 or every screen size.

MIB1 and MIB2 are different hardware families. The same model year can have different equipment. These Navigation plus references must not be applied automatically to a base radio, MIB2 Scale, MIB3, or a replacement head unit.
What to photograph
Upload the original screen main menu and the full dashboard with its controls. If available, also include a clear photo of Setup MMI / Settings → Version information in the screen photo. You do not need to identify the system yourself. The example MHIG and MHI2 menus identify different generations; a matching software prefix alone does not confirm the display connector or kit compatibility.
Regional hardware, display connections and audio equipment must match the kit. An MIB label or software prefix alone does not establish compatibility. We review the original equipment before dispatch.
