MINI CCC navigation — what to check
CCC means the original Professional navigation equipment, not simply an older MINI with a round dashboard. BMW factory documentation identifies CCC navigation on the R55 Clubman and R56 Hatch/Hardtop. This identifies an original-equipment family; it does not establish a complete model-year range for this retrofit kit.
- R55 Clubman / R56 Hatch or Hardtop: show the full original navigation menu and dashboard controls in the required photos. Vehicles with a basic radio must be checked separately.
- Original connections: the supplier’s CCC reference illustration specifies a 10-pin LVDS display connection. The actual display connector, head unit and matching harness must be checked before the CCC kit is supplied. A similar-looking menu or dashboard is insufficient.
- Year range: the generic 2003–2008 text in a supplier CCC illustration is not a verified MINI model-year compatibility list. Do not apply it to all MINI models, or assume that a 2008–2013 vehicle necessarily has CIC.
Keep the two order photos simple: original screen main menu, and full dashboard/controller. If connection details are needed, we will request them before dispatch; you do not need to dismantle the dashboard just to submit your order photos.

BMW factory documentation identifies CCC Professional navigation on R55/R56. This identifies the original system family, not an aftermarket-kit year range.

Installation and first setup
This is a retrofit interface for compatible factory equipment. Installation requires access to the original connections and the instructions for the supplied hardware. A plug-in harness does not establish the installation time or make every vehicle a simple DIY installation.
- Confirm the factory system, matching harness, display connection and audio route before fitting.
- Use the wiring diagram and any DIP-switch settings supplied for your exact kit; do not apply settings from another version.
- Have an experienced installer fit the kit if you are unfamiliar with dashboard work. Test audio, controls and any connected cameras before reassembly.
