The option label “W204 MINI Screen” refers to the small Mercedes display, not the MINI vehicle brand; the two boxes are not interchangeable.

Supplier reference: selected Mercedes-Benz NTG4.0 equipment in the 2008–2012 period. Production dates and factory options vary by market; this is not a guarantee for every US model year or trim. Identify the actual original head unit, display connections, controller and audio route.

The two boxes are different hardware and are not interchangeable. A C/CLR button or vehicle year is an identification clue, not proof of compatibility. This listing does not cover NTG4.5, NTG5.0, NTG5.5 or NTG6.0.
Installation & package
Use the instructions supplied for the exact selected hardware. The standard NTG4.0 wiring diagram shown below must not be substituted for a W204 small-screen installation. Check the DIP-setting label for the supplied box with power disconnected. Professional installation is recommended.
The source accessory photograph shows a decoder box, matching wiring harness, display cable and antenna/accessory leads. The exact harness follows the selected version; cameras and a replacement screen are not included. Optional technical help is available next to the purchase buttons.
